The Thessaloniki – Leipzig Exchange Program 2023 aims to promote cultural exchange between Greece and Germany, which could be activated through artistic explorations of the past, present and future of both partner cities, Leipzig and Thessaloniki. We are happy to announce two eight-weeks residences (from May 2 to June 25, 2023 and July 3 to August 27, 2023) for Greek artists in Leipzig and looking for applications of high artistic quality. The Thessaloniki – Leipzig Exchange Program 2023 is a cooperation of HALLE 14 – Centre for Contemporary Art from Leipzig (Germany) and the Goethe-Institut Thessalonik, funded by the City of Leipzig. We would be very happy if you could forward the information and documents of this open call to interesting artists.

Visual artists living in or originating from Greece are warmly invited to send their applications in English to studioprogramm@halle14.org by March 12, 2023. An independent jury in Leipzig will award the resident artists in 2023 from the applications received. The residence includes accommodation in a 140qm studio of HALLE 14, a one-time stipend of € 2.500 and travel expenses of up to € 300.
